This lesson i carried on with my 3D model in Autodesk Maya, i got help from my teacher after being stuck with a problem which was trying to figure out what i should do next. Even though doing the Sydney opera house is going to be challenging to do in 3D i should be able to do it. Using the blueprints of the building and taking them in to Autodesk Maya was the first step. Then extruding the plans, using NURBS, after this i will transform them into Polygons. For the roof i will create separate, i think i will create it just from polygons since the roof is a very irregular shape, partly why i was attracted to doing the building.
I think my skills in 3D are steadily increasing, getting better also I'm starting to enjoy doing the model.
