Specialist pathway 07/10/11

During this lesson we continued working on our 3D models, I'm finding the Sydney Opera House very challenging to model. It's irregular shape is the one of the many things that make it hard, but my model is taking shape and starting to look like the Sydney Opera House, i have put a lot of my own time in to this model since from time to time something goes wrong for example sometimes when I bridge to edges together half of the model disappears and I cant get it back so I have to back to my last save. But at moment i have converted all the NURBS to Polygons, and as i have mentioned before i have actually made the roof entirely out of polygons. What I plan to do next is to make the base of the model into 3D because at the moment i have only just converted NURBS to polygons so the base is still 2D. Once its all in 3D i will start to shape the base into what its supposed to look like.

This is one of the images I intend to use to help me model the rest of my model, I've chosen this image particularly because its a very clear image and a great side view of the Opera House.
